To reach Vidigueira from Lisbon, Faro, or Porto airports, here are your transportation options (spoiler alert: renting a car is the best option):

From Lisbon Airport (LIS):

• By Car: Vidigueira is about 180km southeast of Lisbon, about a 2-hour drive via highways, or taking 2-2.5 hours scenic routes;

• By Public Transport: Bus from Sete Rios bus station to Beja, which takes 2.5-3 hours. From Beja, Vidigueira is about 20km away; you can take a local bus or taxi. Train from Oriente to Cuba, which takes 1,5-2 hours. From Cuba, Vidigueira is about 10km away; you can take a taxi.

From Faro Airport (FAO):

• By Car: Vidigueira is about 160km north of Faro, around a 2-hour drive;

• By Public Transport: bus or taxi to Faro's main bus station to Beja, which takes about 3-4 hours. Then, proceed to Vidigueira by local bus or taxi.

From Porto Airport (OPO):

• By Car: Vidigueira is approx. 430km south of Porto, about a 4-hour drive;

• By Public Transport: train or bus from Porto to Lisbon, which takes around 3 to 3.5 hours. From Lisbon, follow the public transport options mentioned above
